Are any requirements for the already existing project prior to issuance of the EIA procedure?

The already existing project prior to issuance of the EIA procedure will be required to undertake an environmental compliance audit. As the result of the audit, the following actions are also required:
a) to develop an EIA or IEE or EMP;
b) to obtain an ECC; and
c) to take appropriate actions to mitigate Adverse Impacts in accordance with the Law, the Rules, and other applicable laws.

Who does bear all cost for EIA/IEE/EMP preparation?

The Project Proponent shall bear all necessary cost.
Does ECD require any service fee for EIA/IEE/EMP submission?
Answer)
In principle, the Project Proponent shall bear all cost for EIA/IEE/EMP studies and its related works. In addition, ECD may require any service fee ad hoc e.g. inspection for investigation / monitoring works, etc.
Public Consultation
Whom do we (Project Proponent) invite to the public consultation?

Project Affected People (PAPs), NGOs, Governments, and any other concerned groups should be invited to the public consultation.
